2026 Trial Information
Exciting Announcement from the WSPCA!
The Western States Police Canine Association (WSPCA) is thrilled to announce the upcoming Police Canine Trials for the 2026 season. Mark your calendars and join us for these incredible events showcasing the skills and dedication of our K9 teams!
2026 Trial Schedule:
- May 15th & 16th – Stanislaus County Sheriff’s Dept: These are training days only supported by the WSPCA. These training days will not count towards the end of the year awards. Day 1-Detection training, Day 2- Patrol training.
- June 6th- San Joaquin Sheriffs Dept (This date was changed from May 30th)
- September 5th-Tracy PD
- October 3rd- Lodi PD (End of the year trial).
All locations are currently TBD at this time.
These trials are a fantastic opportunity for handlers, K9 teams, and the community to witness the exceptional training and talent of our police canines. We look forward to seeing you there!

Open to law enforcement and military persons
We offer regular and associate memberships. Attend our annual K9 conference and receive training for you and your dog.
